Bike Scoop: Breezer Radar Pro Adventure Bike

The Breezer Radar Pro Adventure Bike is best described as a “do whatever you want” kind of bike. This is a bike that will handle just about whatever condition you throw at it. Want a commuter that can take a shortcut through the woods? No problem! Want to pack it down for some bikepacking adventures? Go for it! With five water bottle mounts, plenty of spots to attach bags and racks, plus Oval Concepts drop bars with a massive 25 degree outward flare, the Radar Pro is ready for your next adventure. Oh, and let’s not ignore those monster WTB Riddler Race 45mm wide tires, for a little extra cushion.

While made to be an overbuilt multi-tool of a bike, the Breezer Radar Pro holds on to some of the simpler qualities like a butted chromoly frame and fork, “easy to find and replace” anywhere in the world quick release wheel skewers, hydraulic disc brakes, rack & fender mounts, and clearance for up to 2.1 inch wide full blown mountain bike tires. This bike is designed to be as dependable as it is maintainable no matter what part of the world you happen to be exploring.

Component-wise, SRAM’s X9/GX drive train handles shifting duties with 20 speeds and a wide range 11-32t cassette out back, to let you grind this pack mule up to some of the best scenic outlooks most only hear about. Other features include WTB’s Volt comp saddle, Oval Concepts cockpit and a truly dependable threaded bottom bracket.
